Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. No trial, no expiry, no nag. We make money when power users upgrade to Pro — not by holding the basics hostage.
What's the difference between the Free salary calculator and Pro?
The Free calculator computes take-home pay for a single offer. Pro lets you compare two offers side-by-side, layer raises across ten years, and save the comparison.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
No — the Free plan covers the core ten-year forecast forever, so a time-limited trial would be a downgrade. If you need Pro for a single month (modelling a job offer, say), subscribe for €9 and cancel before renewal — the next charge won't happen. Every Pro/Premium charge is refundable within 14 days, no questions asked.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click in Settings. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for — no clawbacks. After that, your data stays; you just lose access to Pro features until you resubscribe.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal and major credit/debit cards (via PayPal). We don't store card numbers ourselves.
Why don't you have bank login like Monarch / Mint / Copilot?
Because we don't think it's worth the privacy cost. Plaid and similar services require your bank password and read your full transaction history. We instead let you import CSVs, type entries, or paste totals — slower for some, but your bank credentials never leave your bank.
Is there a refund if I'm not happy?
Yes. Email us within 14 days of any charge for a full refund — no forms, no friction. After that, you can cancel any time and keep access until period-end.
Do you offer a discount for annual billing?
Yes — €79/yr instead of €108 (12 × €9). That's 27% off, or €6.58/month equivalent.
What about students / non-profits / hardship?
Email support@profinancecast.com with a one-line note. We say yes to almost everyone.
Will my data be deleted if I cancel?
No. Your data stays in your account. You'll just lose the ability to edit Pro features (scenarios, multi-offer salary, Report Card). Resubscribe and it's all there.
